1 — A Japanese-American musician born in Okinawa, Japan, and raised in Dayton, Ohio, United States, he was signed to Geffen Records and released one album, "Nikki," in 1989. The single "Notice Me" peaked at #21 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #11 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary Chart. Nikki was also a backing member of the soul-funk music group Sun and a writer for TV commercials.
